Before extending a brief greeting to Jamie Redknapp, Ronaldo gave Saha a bear hug. He did not, however, speak to Neville as he passed by.
Before his team’s match against the Hammers at Old Trafford, the 37-year-old strolled over to greet former teammate Louis Saha, who was working for Sky Sports. As he ran outside with the rest of the Manchester United team to warm up, Ronaldo also had a quick conversation with ex-Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp.
Ronaldo, who has previously criticised Neville for the forward’s behaviour, completely ignored the former United defender and did not even say hello to him. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner gave Neville a short glance before leaving as his team prepared to face West Ham.
Marcus Rashford claimed he is in a far better frame of mind than last season after scoring Manchester United’s 100th goal.
The forward’s lone goal in a spirited 1-0 victory over West Ham at Old Trafford gave him the milestone.
Rashford later said to Sky Sports, “It’s a completely different energy around the club and the training ground.
