Real Madrid [2] – 0 Cadiz Toni Kroos Great Goal

Manchester City under-21s player, Carlos Borges trolled Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday by copying the Portuguese new goal celebration. Borges scored netted four times for his side as they thrashed the Red Devils’ under-21s 6-1 in Premier League 2.

The last time these two sides met at Leigh Sports Village in August 2021, Alejandro Garnacho was on the bench throughout the match for United and Rico Lewis wasn’t among the squad for City. They both started and scored for their respective first teams in European wins against La Liga sides this week.

Manchester United defender, Rhys Bennett scored the opener very early in the game. It was he who captained his side to the FA Youth Cup victory back in May.

Manchester City were looking to return to the top of the table against their neighbours after suffering a 6-3 reverse at the hands of Everton last weekend. But they fell behind after only four minutes as United defender Rhys Bennett headed home after just four minutes.

Manchester City equalized, however, as Portuguese forward Borges slotted the ball beyond home goalkeeper Radek Vitek. And the winger then added his second goal after the interval as he tapped in the ball into the post.

Borges teed up Dire Mebude for City’s third goal before he completed his hat-trick. And after netting his fourth goal, The 18-years-old foward celebrated like Ronaldo by closing his eyes, facing his head towards the sky and interlocking his hands across his chest.

Manchester City’s win means they lead Premier League 2 once again, while their city rival are a lowly 11th after losing 11 out of their 12 matches.
