Erikson continued his form and led Ajax to the Eredivisie title over the next three seasons. He finished his season at Ajax with 25 goals and 41 assists in 113 league games. Eriksen joined Tottenham in August 2013 for a transfer fee of £ 11 million. He made his league debut for the team the following month against Norwich City, where he set up Gylfi Sigurdsson’s goal.

Eriksen then started a goalscoring streak as he scored 10 goals and provided 14 assists in 36 games out of in all competitions. He received the Tottenham Player of the Year award along with the Danish Player of the Year award. Eriksen ended his second season at Tottenham with an even better result, playing in every league game and scoring 12 goals.
